Site@School is a service provided by PrimaryWise Education - a small, independent education consultancy based in Lincolnshire and specialising in supporting schools across the UK to use ICT to impact positively on learning and teaching.
PrimaryWise offers schools a unique combination of educational and technical expertise, acquired across a period of 30 years. A lot of time is spent in schools working with teachers and support staff in helping them to make best use of their investments in digital learning resources such as Espresso, developing visual/digital literacy skills using a variety of media and hardware and, of course, Site@School itself. Strategic consultancy advice is also provided to Headteachers and Governors, e.g. when schools are seeking to overhaul / replace or add to their existing ICT provision.
We therefore have an excellent knowledge and appreciation of all the issues that schools face when making decisions relating to ICT, from security/pupil safety to a budget that is never enough!
Although a small consultancy, we are able to draw upon the backing and expertise of many others. In the case of Site@School this means a direct link to the main technical development team if assistance is required that is beyond our immediate expertise.
Small also equals personal ..... unlike many larger companies that offer school website systems we don't just operate from 9 to 5. You are just as likely to receive a response to an email query at 8pm on a Sunday evening as you are at 3pm om a Monday when you are working on a part of your website and need some help.
